By Road:

From Barnstaple take the A39 out of the town, past the hospital towards Lynton. At Blackmoor Gate turn right then immediately left towards Lynton and then continue as below.

From the M5 motorway: Leave the M5 at Junction 27 and take A361 towards Barnstaple, after 25 miles turn right onto the A399 at the third roundabout you come to (near South Molton). After 11 miles, at Blackmoor Gate, turn right onto the A39 to Lynton. Take the first left after 1 mile into the village of Parracombe and go up the hill out of the village. Heddon Hall is on you right hand side just beyond the recreation ground.

By Train:
There is a regular service from London Paddington to Tiverton (about 2.5 hours), which is 45 minutes drive away. There is a very picturesque, but less frequent, service from Exeter St David's to Barnstaple on the Tarka Line. Barnstaple is 25 minutes drive away.

By Air:
There is a wide range of frequent short haul services from Bristol Airport. The name is misleading since it is several miles south of the city and not that much further in time or miles (about 90 miles and 1.45 hours) than Exeter Airport which, though expanding, offers less choice and is nearly 1.5 hours away.
